The first half of part 1 (errr) of my review of the 30 black box NES games published by Nintendo between 1985-1987. Games played in part 1 include: Stack Up Wrecking Crew Popeye Duck Hunt Donkey Kong Jr. Math Baseball Golf Donkey Kong Clu Clu Land Ice Climber Mach Rider 10 Yard Fight Excitebike Super Mario Bros. Pinball
I joined the Nintendo fun club because Doc Louis told me to….seriously I still have the membership card.
the reason it says robot block on the title screen because thats what the famicom version was called

i saw when it said robot block and when it says that, there is a chance a nes to famicom adapter is in there

@PatTheNESpunk If I remember correctly the Atari 2600 version did the same thing. I do recall Parker Brothers ads actually referring to him as Brutus, or “Brutusk” as Popeye calls him.

You mean the *three* Silver box games: Metroid, Kid Icarus, and Rad Racer? What about them? Devil World was not a US release.
What about the 2 Grey box games, (Metroid & Kid Icarus) and Devil World? Isn’t Devil World a black box game? You can get the European version of Devil World for NES and play it on your top loader NES.
In Baseball, A = A’s, C = Cardinals, D = Dodgers, P = Pirates, R = Royals, Y = Yankees (YEAH, BABY!!!)! They’re all NES-itized MLB TEAMS!!!

I have all the Black Box games except for Stackup. Some are fun to play.
for some reson i thought that the dog from duck hunt was a rabbit when i was about 4 years old
They are wrenches….they are Monkey wrenches, a common plumbing tool that Mario, as a plumber, would be very familiar with.
