Okay, so this is a microphone stand. Plain and simple. The clips to hold controller are very useful, and the clip actually holds some older video game USB microphones, unlike other mic stands. The stand is made of plastic with mostly plastic connnections, which means that you can’t get the adjustable parts as tight as you’d like. The main adjuster requires two hands on the lower part of the stand to tighten adequately, so if you go the wrong way, the mic will slide down and you’ll have to reposition. If you want to hold the mic while you sing on the stand, it may slide down even when fully tightened. Also, the screw on the mic clip is loose, so expect to tighten it before you play with a Phillips head screwdriver. The clip is removable, so you could put it on a real mic stand if this one ever breaks. The major design flaw is that the controller clip for Xbox 360 does not let you hook up a plug and play charger to it while it’s clipped on. So while I’d have loved to use this time to charge my batteries, I can’t.
To sum it up: It’s a cheap plastic stand with tightening issues, a great clip design for holding the microphone, and a controller clip that won’t let you charge an Xbox 360 controller. If you can live with the above-stated problems, then you should be fine. I am satisfied, considering.

What you see is what you get…and that’s all. The spring loaded microphone stand is decent and the microphone clip is very nice. I love the ability to hang your wireless controllers on the stand and even use one of the extra controller clips to hang my guitar (by the strap). I have one major complaint which keeps this product from rating five stars: nobody sells additional controller clips. You receive three clips, one for each major console system (xbox 360, PS3 and wii). If you’re like me and only want one microphone stand, but would like to hang all your controllers on it, you’re out of luck. I suggest writing your own review and posting your contact information so other buyers can email you and organize a trade. That’s what I did and now I have three Xbox clips and just hang my Wii remotes from their cords.

I bought the mic stand so that I could simultaneously sing and play guitar at the same time. It works wonders. The stand has nice controller clips that hold your controller for you so that you want have to pick it up off a table or the floor between songs. Nice adjustable range on it and very sturdy. I definitely recommend it.

Great Universal Microphone stand that also holds controllers. I will list the cons and pros.
Pros
1.Can be very adjustable to very low to very high
2.Not as cheaply made as I thought it would be
3.Great price
4.Cord organizer
5.Rubber feet
6.Attractive design makes it look like a real stand
Cons
1.Only has one controller clip for a ps3, wii, or xbox 360
2.Cannot purchase additional clips
3.Should have made one for a ps3 that comes with like 3 ps3 clips, or a wii one that comes with 3 wii clips, etc…
Overall I am very happy getting this to go along with my rock band 2. It looks like tons of fun! [....] if you want xbox 360 clip or wii clip. I will trade either one for a ps3 clip. Thanks!

I couldn’t have asked for more for the price…
Heavy enough not to wobble. Small footprint. Controller holders (1 for each of 3 console type controllers) if you need ‘em. Good quality mic and stand parts. Clip to hold wire on stand near the bottom.
When we set up to play our new band hero game (Wii), my wife had one complaint: because you have to pinch the mic holder to open it and put the mic in, it takes two hands to put in and take out. She says she likes the kind where you can just align the wire and slide it in or whatever… but I like the clip – secure and easy to use (if you’re willing to put the extra effort and use two hands!).
